Natural killer (NK) cells are specialized lymphocytes primarily involved in the response to infection and tumors. Among these receptors, Toll‑like (TLRs) can be activated condition either cytotoxic or immunoregulatory phenotype. However, cellular function is frequently impaired during disorders such cancer.
